This variant of the heavy wheeled armored vehicle Piranha with a 90 mm gun turret now replaces the (tracked) Leopard IA5 main battle tank in the Land Component of the Belgian Army. Army that decided to replace its aging tracked vehicles with several variants of this 8-wheel drive vehicle built by GDELS-Mowag.
