1 partial prototype built only.

During the interwar period, Walter Christie produced several prototypes of tanks. Although its vehicles had good characteristics, overall, they were not a commercial success. This particular prototype was sold to repay Christie's debts, to an American businessman of German origin, Siegfried Bechhold. After a few changes, the latter tried to sell it to the Belgians and the British.

The Belgians at the dawn of the Second World War, needed tanks urgently, but the Bechhold tank arrived far too late to help them.
A license agreement for the production of this modified Christie high-speed tank was by the Belgian firm "Ateliers de Construction de Familleureux", during 1939-1940 period.
