The Panzer IX and X never outpassed the stage of the artist's drawing. The drawings of these rounded tanks were printed only in the German magazine "Signal" and no construction was ever planned. They were published for propaganda purposes to cheer the Germans up or to occupy Allied spies on fictitious subjects.
