Artist's view ! (Extrapolation from a chassis of VK.3601 (H) and Bergepanzer III equipment).

After the abandonment of the heavy tank VK.3601 (H) programm, the Henschel firm is summoned to provide 5 pre-series chassis to the Famo firm in Breslau, in order to design heavy recovery vehicles, intended for companiesof heavy tank Tiger I. The vehicle was equipped with a 40t 22/40 Seilwinde winch and a new 12 -cylinder Maybach HL 210 engine, developing 650 hp. Few details are available about these conversions. In addition, there is no trace in units reports, so it is possible to see probable that these vehicles are only paper projects at most.
