Sd.Kfz.252 leichte Gepanzerte Munitionskraftwagen

Une des toutes premières variantes du Sd.Kfz.250 fut un véhicule léger de transport de munitions (1940), spécialement destiné aux canons d'assaut. Il lui sera attribué un numéro de nomenclature différent, le Sd.Kfz.252. Ce transport était doté d'une superstructure entièrement fermée avec des panneaux d'accès pour l'équipage et une double porte à l'arrière pour accéder aux casiers de munitions. Il tirait en outre une remorque à deux roues transportant un supplément de munitions. Une trentaine d'exemplaires furent produits mais en septembre 1940, cet engin fut supplanté sur les lignes d'assemblage par le Sd.Kfz.250/6.

One of the very first alternatives of Sd.Kfz.250 was a light vehicle of transport of ammunition (1940), especially intended for the assault guns. It will be allotted to it a different number of nomenclature, Sd.Kfz.252. This transport was equipped with an entirely closed superstructure with panels of access for the crew and a double door to the back to reach the racks of ammunition. It drew moreover a trailer with two wheels transporting an ammunition supplement. About thirty specimens were produced but in September 1940, this machine was supplanted on the lines of assembly by Sd.Kfz.250/6.
