Following Na-To tank destroyer, Japanese Army in 1943 developed another open-top tank destroyer, the Anti Tank SPG Ka-To.
A 10cm Type 5 gun (penetration: 15 mm at 1000 metres with APHE, 17 5mm with AP) was mounted on a open top ATSPG. A 400hp diesel engine was mounted at the front and driver seated between engine and gunner position. This vehicle was built around the gun. Infact it had a thin armor, 25 mm on front, 20 mm sides / rear and had a very high profile
(2.85 metres). The traverse of gun was 45° to each side and depression / elevation of -10°/+20°.

A chassis was almost completed at the end of war (by Mitsubishi).
