service trials in Iraq, 1923. The Gloster Nighthawk, or Mars VI, replaced the Dragonfly with either an Armstrong-Siddeley Jaguar or Bristol Jupiter radial. In 1922, the RAF acquired 29 aircraft converted from Nieuport Nighthawks by No.1 Aircraft Deport, powered by both Jaguar and Jupiter engines. |
