The British government
is taking possession of 100 P-66, designated Vanguard MK.I, to use them
as advanced training aircraft in Canada. At the end of the tests, the
English renounce the plane (because deemed too fragile against the fighters
of the Axis) for the benefit of China, where 104 Vanguard (including copies
of USAAC) are shipped in the context of the "Lend-Lease" program. |
