This variant of the heavy wheeled armored vehicle Piranha with a 12.7 mm machine-gun now replaces the (tracked) Armored Personnel carriers M113 in the Land Component of the Belgian Army. Army that decided to replace its aging tracked vehicles with several variants of this 8-wheel drive vehicle built by GDELS-Mowag.
