The typ G5 was very similar to the le. gl. Einheits-Pkw, outwardly. 378 exemplars were manufactured from 1937 to 1941.
The Wehrmacht had few exemplars of this model (often used by civilian organisations), but a large part was exported.
It is true that it was too mediocre as off-road vehicle for a standard military use.
