Prototype of
the Schwimmpanzer 38(t) AP-1. The prototype makes its first tests on the Vltavaen River near Prague in June 1941. On November 17, 1941, it is shipped to the German test center in Kummersdorf. in 1942, Ribnitz Lake Saaler Bodden sees a strange boat perform conclusive tests. at the time of launching the program, an order of 100 AP-1 is envisaged, but in view of the evolution of the conflict, which is not favorable to light "water" armored vehicles, it is finally stopped. |
