Les Britanniques créèrent en 1928 un Universal Vickers Medium Tractor sur base du châssis du Vickers 6-Ton destiné à un usage civil et militaire. Ce tracteur fut évalué par l'armée britannique entre 1930 et 1932 mais fut rejeté. En 1934, Vickers réalisa un tracteur d'artillerie, plus intéressant, propulsé par un moteur diesel plus puissant. L'armée britannique en commanda 12 exemplaires sous l'appélation Dragon Medium Mk.IV. Ils furent incorporés dans un régiment d'artillerie pour tracter des canons de 60-pdr (127 mm). En 1940, la British Expiditionary Force les utilisa en France, où ils furent capturés par les Allemands. Quelques-uns furent exportés : en 1932 un exemplaire fut acheté par la firme allemande Siemens-Schucket, en 1935 la Chine en acheta 23 et en 1937, l'Inde en acheta 18.

The British created in 1928 a Universal Vickers Medium Tractor on the basis of chasis of Vickers 6-Ton intended for a civil and military use. This tractor was evaluated by the British army between 1930 and 1932 but was rejected. In 1934, Vickers produced an artillery tractor, more interesting, propelled by a more powerful diesel engine. The British army ordered of them 12 specimens under the appelation Dragon Medium Mk.IV. They were built-in in an artillery regiment to tractor draw guns of 60-pdr (127 mm). In 1940, British Expiditionary Force used them in France, where they were captured by the Germans. Some were exported: in 1932 a specimen was bought by the German firm Siemens-Schucket, in 1935 China bought of them 23 and in 1937, India bought 18 of them.

Un canon-automoteur anti-aérien fut développé à partir du châssis du Artillery Tractor Dragon. Ce véhicule avec superstructure ouverte était armé d'un canon automatique Vickers de 40 mm (pom-pom) anti-aérien d'une cadence de tir de 120 coups/min. Le Siam en commanda 26 exemplaires.

L'ingénieur N. Straussler développa pour le Vickers Mark E un dispositif pour le franchissement des tranchées, qui en pratique était plutôt un inconvénient pour le char.

An anti-aircraft self-propelled guns was developed starting from the chassis of Artillery Tractor Dragon. This vehicle with open superstructure was armed with an automatic gun Vickers of 40 mm (pom-pom) anti-aircraft with a rate of shooting of 120 rounds/min. Siam ordered 26 specimens of them.

Engineer N. Straussler developed for Vickers Mark E a device for the crossing of the trenches, which in practice was rather a disadvantage for the tank.

Comme précités dans la partie développement plusieurs pays s'inspirèrent du Vickers 6-ton pour concevoir leur propre modèles parfois fort proches de l'original. Ce fut le cas de la Russie avec la famille du T-26 et la Pologne avec son char 7TP. Des tracteurs d'artillerie basé sur les Vickers 6-ton produits sous license furent également développés en URSS (T-26T & T-26T2) et en Pologne (C7P). Les Soviétiques créèrent également une petite série de poseur de ponts (ST-26 & ST-30) et quelques prototypes de canons-automoteurs.

As above mentioned in the development part, several countries took as a starting point the Vickers 6-ton to design their own models sometimes extremely close to the original. It was the case of Russia with the family of T-26 and Poland with its tank 7TP. Artillery tractors based on Vickers 6-ton produced under license were also developed in the USSR (T-26T & T-26T2) and in Poland (C7P). The Soviets also created a small series of layer of bridges (ST-26 & ST-30) and some prototypes of self-propelled guns.
