Variants
Long range version. The fuel capacity increased from 440 liters to 650 liters, giving a passable distance of 1360 km. The lack of radio navigation equipment limited the interest of such a version.
Bomber escort version. Yak-9D and T modified to receive up to 845 liters of fuel, obtaining a range of 2285 km, as well as radio-navigation equipment.
