UK Conversions

C'est les Britanniques qui donnèrent au M3 le patronyme de Stuart. Ceux-ci le baptisèrent néanmoins "Honey". Les Britanniques établirent une nomenclature particulière pour les modèles de la série M3 et réalisèrent également quelques conversions.

• Stuart I: M3 avec moteur Continental.
• Stuart II: M3 avec moteur Guiberson.
• Stuart III: M3A1 avec moteur Continental.
• Stuart IV: M3A1 avec moteur Guiberson.
• Stuart V: M3A3.
• Stuart VI: M5 et M5A1.
• Stuart Kangaroo: transport de personnel sans tourelle et doté de sièges supplémentaires dans le compartiment de combat.
• Stuart Recce: véhicule similaire au Kangaroo mais doté de mitrailleuses montées sur la superstructure.
• Stuart Command: similaire au Kangaroo mais avec des postes radio supplémentaires.
• Stuart 18 pdr SP: Stuart sans tourelle et armé d' un canon de 18 pdr (1 seul exemplaire).

The British gave to the M3 the patronym of Stuart. Those baptized it nevertheless "Honey". The British established a particular nomenclature for the models of the series M3 and also carried out some conversions.

• Stuart I: M3 with Continental engine.
• Stuart II: M3 with Guiberson engine.
• Stuart III: M3A1 with Continental engine.
• Stuart IV: M3A1 with Guiberson engine.
• Stuart V: M3A3.
• Stuart VI: M5 and M5A1.
• Stuart Kangaroo: transport of personnel without turret and equipped with additional seats in the compartment of combat.
• Stuart Recce: vehicle similar in Kangaroo but equipped with machine-guns mounted on the superstructure.
• Stuart Command: similar in Kangaroo but with additional radio stations.
• Stuart 18 pdr SP: Stuart without turret and armed with a gun of 18 pdr (1 only specimen).
